Cristiano Ronaldo announced his retirement from international football without informing Portugal head coach, Jorge Jesus.
According to a Portuguese outlet, A Bola, the two men have not spoken since September 30.
Ronaldo informed Portuguese Football Federation president, Pedro Proença, of his decision to quit, but did not speak with Jesus.
It has now emerged that the 41-year-old no longer wants to play under Jesus.
Ronaldo announced his retirement just before the announcement of the squad for the November international break, to avoid being called up.
Jesus had planned to invite the Al-Nassr forward but has now been caught off guard by his retirement announcement.
