Former Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha says that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC is holding him hostage at his residence.
It was reported earlier that EFCC operatives stormed his Abuja residence on Tuesday with the aim of arresting him, but he barricaded himself indoors.
Speaking with Channels TV via telephone, Okorocha condemned the action as he noted that they did not present a warrant of arrest or court order.
He said; “I am held hostage here, I would say. I have enquired if they have an arrest warrant or not and I am supposed to be getting ready for screening.
“I don’t know what is really happening; it is unfortunate that this is happening here. I will be here until I know what they want, I want to see a warrant of arrest or court order.”
