Barcelona young midfielder, Gavi has won the 2022 Golden Boy award, which is given annually to the top player under 21 who is based at a European club.
The 18-year-old made a huge impact in his debut season in Barcelona’s first team, also becoming a regular Spain international.
Gavi beat Eduardo Camavinga, Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala in the final four and is the second successive Barcelona player to win it after Pedri scooped the prize in 2021.
He joins an illustrious list of former winners that includes Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, Paul Pogba, Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero, Lionel Messi, and Wayne Rooney.
