Controversial US-based Nigerian singer, Darlington Okoye, known by his stage name, Speed Darlington, has said he is not interested in collaborating with any of the top 3 industry acts.
The ‘Bangdadadang’ crooner said he will never feature Afrobeats heavyweights Wizkid, Davido or Burna Boy because none of them are on his level.
Speed Darlington stated this during an interview with HipTV while talking about his music career and future plans.
The rapper who claimed not to know any of the three music stars, alleged that Burna Boy once tried to get his attention by making a video in the bathroom.
Akpi, as he is fondly called, said he would not like a situation where he’s become very famous and one of them would turn around to give himself credit for making him (Speedy) successful.
Darlington maintained that he is an influential person in the Nigerian social media space and doesn’t need to feature any of the artistes’ to blow.
