A group of internet fraudsters aka Yahoo Boys narrowly escaped being investigated and fished out by an American police officer whose wife they tried to scam.
The young men have been chatting with a white woman for sometime, with the intention of squeezing money out of her, but they did not know she’s married to a cop.
It was during their first video call with the lady named Barbara that they discovered her husband is a county Sheriff and he nearly caught them in their scam.
In a video trending online, Barbara asked to know one of the Yahoo Boy’s name and he said only if she tells him how old she is. The woman claimed to be 17 years old.
As they were talking, her husband returned from work and took over the phone from her when he saw she was speaking with some men.
He started questioning the two of them and wanted to know what they wanted from his family.
The Yahoo Boy spoke with confidence and said that he was just having a friendly conversation with Barbara.
