Prof. Emeka Ezeonu, a former Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) official has declared that the 2023 elections cannot be rigged.
The one-time Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Imo spoke on Wednesday at a Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) event in Awka, Anambra.
On Wednesday night, he made this announcement during his sermon at the Glory Dome, the church’s administrative building in Abuja.
Additionally, the clergyman urged members of the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, to repress the desire to rig the outcomes of the upcoming general elections.
According to Enenche: “No satanic and rigging modality will work in the season we are getting into.
“No structure of corruption can work. We are moving over to the other side and nothing can stop it.
“People should always insist on doing the right thing, if you are working in INEC do the right thing.
“If social media is your department, don’t allow people to give you money to push the wrong information.”
