A male corper could be seen flogging the students in class with so much anger and aggression that it irked people who saw the clip.
The video which has sparked outrage shows an member of the National Youth Service Corps meting out corporal punishment to Junior secondary school students.
It is not immediately clear what offense they committed that made him dish out such punishment to them.
The pupils were all kneeling down when he started descending on them one by one with a cane in his hand.
It was so painful that the schoolchildren were writhing on the floor and trying to itch their backs after he gave each of them strokes of the cane.
Social media users were opposed to him beating them in that manner as they expressed fear that it could lead to a tragic ending.
