A pro-government protester found himself in a challenging situation during an interview with a journalist, ultimately appealing for the footage to be scrapped after failing to convincingly defend government policies.
The protester initially claimed that the economy was doing well and that there was high crude oil production. However, when the journalist countered his statements with facts and figures, the protester struggled to provide substantial evidence to support his claims.
Realizing the difficulty of defending the government’s stance, the protester requested that the interview be removed from the tape.
