Following a ruling of the Appeal Court in Abuja that Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has been discharged, an Enugu man reportedly razed his car to celebrate.
He set his vehicle on fire around Onitsha South Mass Transit as bystanders watched in disbelief.

A man who recorded the clip said the owner vowed to burn his car whenever news breaks that Nnamdi Kanu is to be released.
He noted that some people are bold and daring enough to make certain decisions which is unbelievable.

It was reported in the 13th October that The Appeal Court in Abuja has discharged and acquitted Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, of terrorism charges.
Kanu approached the Appeal Court seeking to quash the terrorism charges brought against him by the Federal Government.
The leader of the secessionist group had faulted the order of Justice Binta Nyako of a Federal High Court, Abuja, which ordered him to answer seven out of the 15-count terrorism charge against him.
