Video: Lecturer storms bank with ‘Ghana Must Go’ to withdraw his entire 8 months salary arrears

A Nigerian lecturer caused a stir at a bank when he showed up with a Ghana Must Go bag following reports that FG paid their outstanding salaries.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) had revealed on Tuesday that the Federal Government agreed to pay 8 months’ salary arrears.

It announced; “Universities to reopen 17th October 2022 as Federal Govt agrees to pay the outstanding 8 months’ salaries.

“Revitalisation and salary arrears have been cleared. Although the issue of UTAS is not finalized, for now, ASUU members have agreed to resume October 17th.”

Just a day after the news broke, a man who lectures at an undisclosed university stormed his bank with a big bag to withdraw the entire 8 months backlog of salaries.
