An undergraduate at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has opened up on how his decision to invest his school fees in business affected his studies.
He disclosed that he is one of the students affected by the mass deferment of students who failed to pay their fees on time.
In a brief interview with TV3 News, the young man said he failed to meet the deadline because he invested his tuition in business but the returns did not come early enough.
According to him, his parents gave him the full amount for his school fees but he decided to invest it in a business hoping to make some money and pay later.
In his words; ”My parents are actually not aware of this but I invested my school fees in a business. I did not think this directive by the school will come so soon. I wanted to make some returns before paying the money. I blame myself”.
