Manchester United have announced Eric Bailly has signed a new contract with the club.
The club known as the Red Devils confirmed the news via social media on Monday, with the excited title: “A new deal for Eric Bailly!”
United revealed the 27-year-old Ivorian defender will be at Old Trafford until 2024. Bailly also commented to say his short term ambition is to win the Europa League this season.
“Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has outlined his ambitions after signing a new contract at Old Trafford,” United wrote on their website.
“For me, it’s the dream to be here,” Bailly added. “Now it’s my fifth season and I hope to be here a long time. We hope we can win this trophy [Europa League] – it is very important for us and for the fans and for the season,” he added.
Meanwhile, United are preparing for the visit of the old English football enemy, Liverpool on Sunday for a league game.
