The results picked from 2011-20 and compiled by comprised by the IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics) see Barca edge their archrivals; the Catalonians picking 2,877 points to Madrid’s 2,782. German giants Bayern Munich complete the top three with a points tally of 2,594.5.
In that period, Barca was the most successful domestic side winning the league title six times in comparison to just three for Los Blancos although the Spanish capital side won four Champions League titles in comparison to just two for the Blaugrana.
Barça also won five Copa del Rey titles, two European Super Cups, two Club World Cups, and five Spanish Super Cups; this being the second successive time that Barca was named the best team in a decade having also won the gong in 2001-10 period.
