There was chaos and pandemonium at Idogbo Secondary School, Upper Sakponba road in Benin City, Edo state last week due to yet t be ascertained reasons.
According to reports, the students were constituting nuisance so the school principal invited police officers to restore law and order in the school.
It was learnt that the secondary school students allegedly attacked the police officer, took hold of his uniform, pursued the principal from the school before carrying out massive destruction of the school’s properties.
They were said to have forced their way into the principal’s office and ransacked it. A video circulating online shows some of the students celebrating.
