Nigerian rapper, and actor, Folarin Falana known professionally as Falz has revealed that he recently underwent a major knee surgery.
The activist made this known in a video posted on his verified Instagram page as he disclosed that he sustained a knee injury last year while playing football with friends.
Falz explained that he had to repair his torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL), after being advised to go for surgery.
The singer took his fans through his journey from when he was diagnosed with the injury to the moment he had gotten the surgery.
Sharing the painful video, Falz solicited prayers from his fans, colleagues and well-meaning Nigerians.
He said; “On the 23rd I went to play football and I sustain a knee injury.
And it’s pretty serious. On November 30th, 2022, I did my ACL. My MRI came back and it shows that there is a complete tear on my ACL.
I have been advised to go into surgery to fix it”.
He captioned; “Current situation. It’s a whole journey to being 100% back. Say a prayer for me”.
