There was a scramble for stolen money close to a bank on Lagos Island after a robbery incident took place just outside the bank premises.
It was gathered that a man visiting the bank to deposit money was robbed by hoodlums in front of the bank.
To avoid being caught, the thieves sprayed the money into the air to attract a huge crowd and give them chance to slip away.
A video circulating on social media shows the moment residents were scrambling to pick the money and some were fighting others who had picked a huge chunk of the cash.
Taking a closer look at the bank, security personnel could be seen arresting some suspects, though it is unclear if they are responsible for the robbery.
