The Lagos State Police Command said its operatives have foiled bomb attack in Ikeja, the seat of the State Government.
According to a Channels Television’s News Alert on Wednesday evening, the incident happened around Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) facility in Ikeja.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident on Wednesday.
He said the device, which was wrapped in a bag, was dropped by the roadside from an unregistered vehicle along Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way.
The incident is coming less than 24 to the planned nationwide protests against hardship in the country slated for Thursday, August 1,
