Popular Hip Hop artiste, Erigga has asserted that ace songstress, Niniola is the person behind the emergence of South African genre, Amapiano in the Nigerian music industry.
The ‘Motivation’ crooner weighed in on the debate that trended last year over who actually imported the genre from South Africa to Nigeria.
Taking to his Twitter account, Erigga, attempted to shut down any further debate on the matter by giving credit to Niniola. He tweeted; “Na NINIOLA really bring amapiano come Nigeria sha ????????”
It may be recalled that in September 2022, there was a raging debate which started with a Twitter user’s opinion that Davido brought Amapiano to Nigeria and made it successful.
