
Oluwaseun Kuforiji, a talented Nigerian tailor, has made history by setting a new Guinness World Record for the longest sewing marathon.
Kuforiji achieved this remarkable feat in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, sewing non-stop for an incredible 106 hours, 55 minutes, and 20 seconds from January 22 to 26, 2025.
His record-breaking performance surpasses the previous milestone, marking a significant achievement in the global fashion industry.
Celebrating his success, Kuforiji took to Instagram to express his gratitude for the recognition and support he received throughout his journey.
“Officially a Guinness World Record Holder! 106 hours, 55 minutes, and 20 seconds of non-stop sewing—needle and thread in hand, passion in my heart! From crafting a full Agbada in the first six hours to completing 18 outfits, this journey has been nothing short of incredible,” he wrote.
