A young Nigerian man has done a test run to check if a Harry Potter spell can activate the flashlight on his smartphone as reported.
His decision follows a report by Uber Facts that the spell ”Lumos” when spoken with voice command, can turn on iPhone and Android flashlights.
Lumos is a magical spell from Harry Potter films and books, which enable the tip of the wand of the person who is casting the spell to light up when said, and serve as a flashlight, enabling the magician to see in the dark.
The Nigerian guy shared a video of him using his iPhone to confirm whether it is true or false, and it actually worked.
He simply said the words; ”Hey Siri” and a second later he said ”Lumos” after which the flashlight became active.
Emeraldloaded can confirm that it also works on Android smartphones. A correspondent tried the spell with his Android phone and the flashlight came on.
