NDLEA Receives Seized Cannabis from Customs (Photos)

The Nigeria Customs Service has handed over a massive Seized Cannabis, valued at millions, to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for further investigation.

In a significant blow to illicit drug trafficking, the Nigeria Customs Service, Niger-Kogi Command, has intercepted and handed over 283 wraps of cannabis sativa to the Nigeria Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Minna.

The estimated duty-paid value of the seized cannabis sativa stands at a staggering ₦5,666,000.

Comptroller Pascal Chibuoke of the Niger-Kogi Command briefed the press on the command’s activities over the past four weeks, highlighting the successful seizure, and detention of nine units of vehicles with a cumulative duty-paid value of over ₦170m, Chibuoke praised his team’s resilience and doggedness, assuring that the command will continue to reward officers who excel in their duties.
