A video which surfaced online shows Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state, leading in the arrest of a military officer caught riding a motorcycle against traffic.
The man was said to have flouted traffic rules along Ozumba Mbadiwe road, Victoria Island, Lagos on Tuesday.
It was gathered that the governor was on his way to an event when he came across the soldier riding through one-way traffic and he immediately ordered the security personnel in his convoy to arrest the rider.
This comes weeks after the state government banned commercial motorcycles, also known as okada, from six LGAs as it warned private motorcycle owners against flouting traffic rules.
In a viral video, the unidentified military officer was seen carried into a van by security operatives.
