Man-U Announces Job Cuts, Bonus Reductions to Boost Profits

Manchester United has announced plans to cut approximately 150-200 more jobs as part of its ongoing efforts to return to profitability after five consecutive years of losses.

On Monday, the Premier League club confirmed that the latest cuts are in addition to the 250 jobs removed last year.

Since British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe acquired a 25% stake in the club last year and took charge of football operations, Manchester United has been undergoing restructuring and cost-cutting measures to revive its on-field performance and financial health.

In September, the 20-time English champions reported their fifth consecutive annual loss, partly due to missing out on the lucrative UEFA Champions League.
