A man has shared a video narrating a fraudulent incident that occurred at the popular computer village in Lagos state.
In the clip, he narrated how a guy who visited the place to sell his phone got scammed by the person who posed as a buyer.
The victim was removing his sim card from the phone he wanted to sell and while doing this, the fraudster swapped the money he initially showed to him.
He used a real naira note to wrap some cut-out carton paper and handed it to the victim as payment after which the scammer walked away with the phone and real money.
Seconds later, the young man could be seen checking his pocket frantically in search of something.
