A man has shared a video showing some Christian Southerners hiding on rooftops in Sokoto state in the wake of the killing of Deborah Samuels.
Recall that a violent protest erupted in the state last week after killers of Deborah Samuels, a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, were arrested.
The protesters went on rampage attacking non-Northerners and Southern Christians as well as setting churches and private properties ablaze.
During the incident, some residents in the state who sought safety, were forced to climb rooftops of houses in their neighbourhood to hide.
In the video, some men and women could be seen using a ladder to climb to a roof while others were already positioned atop hiding.
