Lagos State Task Force operatives on Friday raided suspected criminal hideouts in Agboyi-Ketu and Alapere, arresting 20 individuals.
The operation, led by the agency’s chairman, Adetayo Akerele, covered areas including Mile 12 under-bridge, Ketu Bus Stop, Ketu Garage, Alapere, and Agboyi-Ketu.
According to the task force spokesperson, Gbadeyan Abdulraheem, the suspects are in custody and will be charged in court without delay.
Akerele said the raid was in response to public concerns about criminal activities in these areas. “We remain committed to safeguarding lives and property. Lagosians’ safety is our top priority, and we encourage residents to report suspicious activities,” he stated.
