A Nigerian man, Jonathan Ogboffa popularly known as Aluta Jango, has bagged a bachelor’s degree after 13 years at the University of Jos, Plateau.
The student whose age was not given, graduated from the department of History and International Studies.
Fellow graduands and social media users was celebrated him as the news of his signing out broke out.
It was gathered that Jonathan was neck-deep in students politics and NANS and this saw him move from one department to the other over the years till his eventual graduation.
He wore a shirt with an inscription on the front which reads: “I dedicate my graduation to all rebel comrades I have delivered”
While the back of the shirt reads; “Most Senior Comrade Jango.”
Jango has a large following among Northern students to the extent that many troop out to greet him and take photos whenever he visits tertiary institutions.
He is said to be a fixer who helped new and old students with registration, accommodation issues and other challenges.
