
Iran has announced the end of its 12-day war with Israel, following a US-proposed ceasefire.
Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian declared the end of the war, describing it as one “imposed by Israel.”.

Earlier, a ceasefire aimed at halting tit-for-tat strikes between Israel and Iran was earlier announced by US President, Donald Trump.
However, Israel and Iran have agreed to the ceasefire, with Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian stating they will respect the agreement if Israel reciprocates.
The 12-day war between Israel and Iran resulted in significant loss of life, claiming the lives of military personnel and civilians, while thousands were displaced, injured and killed in the intense conflict.
The war began with Israel’s airstrike on Iranian military and nuclear sites, prompting Iran to retaliate with drone and missile attacks.
