The musician lamented about him not being given a job or getting connected to gigs by Obi Cubana despite being friendly with him.
Nigerian singer and internet sensation, Speed Darlington has expressed regret over the manner he interacted with Cubana Group CEO, Obi Cubana when they met at a birthday party.
Speedy who noted that the billionaire ‘touched my antenna’ at the party, added that he would have put the businessman in his place at the time, if he had know that being friendly would win him no favours.
It my be recalled that a video which went surfaced weeks ago showed Speedy and Obi Cubana at the birthday party of one Dubem, and singer Portable who was in attendance stole the spotlight.
Days after the party, Obi Cubana signed Portable as a brand ambassador for his herbal drink brand, Odogwu Bitters.
Speaking on how the meeting didn’t favour him, Speed Darlington said Cubana was looking for a hype man, whereas he (Speedy) is just a musician.
