A devastating fire has destroyed a popular fitness centre in Abuja, leaving destruction in its wake. Get the latest updates on the incident.
Fire on Wednesday gutted Eco Fitness Center in the Gwarinpa area of Abuja.
The fire occurred at about 10:00 am and firefighters were called to put out the blaze.
Our Source WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that no fewer than 50 persons scampered to safety when the fire began.
As at time of filing this report, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Although the fire was successful quenched, large portions of the facility were razed.
There were no casualties, according to eye witnesses.
