The Federal Government plans to revamp the civil service logo to enhance its alignment with the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan.
The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHSCF) has called on all federal civil servants to participate in a competition to create a new civil service logo, encouraging them to showcase their unique perspectives, innovation, and creativity.
The Federal Government announced its decision to redesign the Federal Civil Service logo on Monday through a circular from the Office of the HSCF, which was shared with journalists in Abuja by Eno Olotu, Head of Information and Public Relations.
The circular states that redesigning the logo is a crucial measure for aligning with the current reforms specified in the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021-2025 (FCSSIP 25).
The Office has accordingly itemised the eligibility criteria that would guide all federal civil servants both within and outside Nigeria wishing to participate.
The circular emphasized that the redesigned logo must be original, creative, and unique, clearly conveying the service’s mission.
“Participants are to visit the official website of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (www.ohcsf.gov.ng) from Tuesday, 29th October, when the portal will be opened,” it stated.
The circular also stated that all entries must be submitted by Tuesday, November 12, 2024, as late submissions will not be accepted.
