Nigerian musician, Eedris Abdulkareem’s wife, Yetunde is the donor who would provide a kidney for the artiste’s transplant, TheCable reports.
The rap veteran’s management, in a statement on Wednesday, called for prayers, stating that he will undergo a kidney transplant by the end of July.
Eedris has been undergoing dialysis at a hospital in Lagos state after being diagnosed with kidney failure.

According to TheCable, a source close to the family said the artiste’s wife has opted to be his kidney donor.
“The wife is donating her kidney for him. All that is left now is to get the money needed for the surgery,” the source said.
This is also as rapper, MI Abaga had earlier revealed that “we have a donor in his family”. He further appealed to fans and well-wishers to fund the ailing musician’s surgery.
Eedris and Yetunde got married in 2004 and their union is blessed with three children.
