Nigerian actor turned politician, Desmond Elliot, on Friday, won the All Progressives Congress, (APC) primary election for Surulere Constituency in Lagos state.
This will be his third time running for a seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly, and he returned unopposed.
Elliot who polled a total of 30 votes as the sole contestant for the ticket broke into a celebratory dance when the result was announced.
A video circulating online shows him dancing to Kizz Daniel’s ”Buga” alongside APC members, after which he walked into the election venue
