Nigerian songstress, Cynthia Morgan has taken to social media to correct a notion that Grammy-winner, Burna Boy was an up and coming artiste when she featured him as a vixen in her music video.
The female singer now known as Madrina, featured the self-acclaimed African Giant in her 2015 hit single, Simatiniya.
Cynthia Morgan said that at the time he appeared in her music video, Burna was already the biggest artiste in Africa.
She made the assertion while responding to a Twitter user’s comparison between Wizkid and Burna Boy, suggesting that the ”Dangote” crooner was just a struggling musician when Wiz was already a star.
She also recalled almost losing her record deal with Jude Okoye’s Northside Records for insisting that she wanted Burna in the video.
