Singer turned politician, Olubankole Wellington alia Banky W has won the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ticket for Eti-Osa Federal constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.
He emerged the party’s Eti-osa representative in the next election after winning at the primaries which held on Monday, 23rd May.
This is the second time Banky W will be trying to clinch a party’s ticket to stand a chance at winning a seat in the green chambers.

A video circulating online shows the votes of the primaries being counted and closely monitored by the delegates and other party members.
The music executive garnered twenty eight votes while the opponent who came second got three votes.
