Suspected bandits have kidnapped a Catholic parish, Rev Fr Joseph Shekari and killed one of his aides on Sunday night in Chawai, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Rev Fr Shekari was kidnapped but the terrorist killed the yet-to-be-identified cook working in the parish house during the attack.
Recall that a 35-year-old pastor, Izuchukwu Anoloba and others were arrested by the police for kidnapping a Catholic priest, Fidelis Ekemgba in Imo state.
The suspects held the priest for over seven days and made to pay a ransom of N5 million to them.
