Nigerian music sensation, Adekunle Gold and Ghanaian singer, Kidi have gotten into a battle of trolling over the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana crashed out of the tournament in the group stage after throwing away two-goal lead in stoppage time against Mozambique.
But their West African rivals, Super Eagles of Nigeria qualified for Semi finals after defeating Angola 1-0 in their quarter final clash on Friday.
Reacting, to the win, Adekunle urged those who wanted to mock Nigeria to delete their drafted post and he went on to tag Kidi on Twitter.
“Delete your drafts.”
The Ghanaian artiste then told the ‘Five Star’ crooner that he wants Super Eagles to reach the final and lose because it will be more painful and give better banter material.
Kidi further made it known that he will be there to troll Adekunle and his country if Peseiro’s side eventually lose out on winning the AFCON.
“I actually want you to go to the final and lose. That’s more painful. I will be there ! 😂” Kidi tweeted.
But Adekunle Gold made jest of him by alluding to how Black Stars of Ghana exited AFCON early, and as such he won’t be able to make it to the match venue.
“Lol you won’t be,” he wrote.
