Former Big Brother Naija 2018 star, Rico SwaveyP whose real name Patrick Fakoya has died.
His colleague, Alex Asogwa broke the sad news via her Twitter account on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
She wrote: “This was not what we agreed Rico. Rest In Peace #ricoswavey.”
Rico had been placed on life support after being involved in a ghastly car accident.
BBNaija star, Tobi Bakare confirmed the shocking on his Instagram page on Thursday morning.
He shared a memorable picture which showed one of the happy moments he shared with the deceased.
“This is how I will always remember you. Rest in peace my brother. Thanks for all your donations and care. God knows best,” Tobi captioned
Alex was the first person to break the news of Rico Swavey’s accident through social media on Tuesday, October 11, 2022
She had said the auto crash occurred hours before her tweet, adding that doctors were trying to resuscitate him as at when she left the hospital.
The Big Brother Naija season 3 housemate then appealed to fans to put her fellow ex-contestant n their prayers.
Alex wrote; “Good morning sweethearts. Please put @iamricoswavey in your prayers today.
“He was involved in a ghastly accident hours ago and the doctors are still trying to resuscitate him as I just left the hospital. It’s really critical. I’m staying positive. #PrayForRicoSwavey”
