Tanzanian music star, Diamond Platnumz has taken to social media to shade Nigerian Afrobeat singers, Wizkid and Burna Boy.
He stated that he has achieved a new feat which places him above the leading industry artistes’ Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido.
According to Diamond Platnumz, he has surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube, making him the first Sub-Saharan artiste to achieve such.
The singer, while mentioning Wizkid’s name, said that Drake boosted his career, and he did same for Burna boy whom he described as Diddy’s protégé.
He wrote;
”In 2020, he became the first sub-saharan artist with more than 1 billion video views, leaping ahead of such stars as Davido, Drake-boosted Wizkid and P Diddy’s protégé Burna Boy”
