Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has commended ‘Agent Bukayo Saka’ for his role in his summer transfer to North London.
The former Sheffield United man appears to have established himself as Mikel Arteta’s number one, having only allowed one goal in his five appearances for Arsenal in all competitions.
Ramsdale and Saka are presently at England’s training ahead of the World Cup 2022 qualifiers later this month, and the former has praised his teammate for facilitating the move after the two spent time together in the Three Lions camp during Euro 2020.
Speaking to the official England YouTube account, Ramsdale said: “Agent Saka. That’s what he says. He said the manager [Arteta] spoke to him a couple of times and thankfully he gave a good review of me.
“What a guy. He’s just happy. He’s just always happy. What a footballer as well. I’m very happy now he’s on my team at club level. When you come here and you’ve got the talent which we’ve got up top and Bukayo’s right in the mix of that. You just can’t help but smile when he’s mentioned or when he’s in the room.”
