Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka will miss the next two Champions League matches following his red-card against Young Boys last week.
The defender was sent off after 35 minutes of United’s Champions League group opener against the Swiss club, a match United lost 2-1.
Instead of the usual one-match ban, UEFA has doubled the punishment, terming his challenge on Christopher Martins Pereira ‘rough play’.
This means he will miss tonight’s match against Villarreal, and one against Atalanta on October 20.
At Old Trafford tonight, coach Ole Gunnar Solskajer will be without a number of his defenders, including captain Harry Maguire while Luke Shaw is a major doubt.
The Spanish side will also miss former Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin, who was sent off in their first match against Atalanta last week.
